Immediately contact the police to complete an accident report and
then notify the Payless rental location within 24 hours of the
accident. In most incidents, you will need to return to the rental
office to complete an accident report for Payless Car Rental's
records and your own. This report is for both parties'
protection, and is particularly important if you have purchased a
waiver of damage.

Age  |
|
Renter must be 25 years of age unless specified otherwise in
specific location's policy. Underage Surcharge: where
applicable by law, locations will charge an underage fee. Please

Additional
Authorized Drivers
 |
Additional drivers are allowed at most
locations and there may be an additional fee if state law
permits. They must meet the minimum age requirements, present a
valid drivers' license and credit card. All location policies
that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional

Americans With
Disabilities Act |
|
|
Payless locations provide rental services to accommodate all
customers and comply with the stipulations of the Americans With
Disabilities Act. Please call our toll free number (800-PAYLESS) and
speak to a Customer Service Representative for any special equipment
or requests. Reasonable advance notice is required; our usual need is
72 hours but this period may vary.
- Hand Controls : Hand controls are provided
at no additional charge however availability of special
equipment must be verified before the reservation can be
confirmed. If you require special equipment to operate the
vehicle, please contact us at 1-800-PAYLESS. We will process
your request and send a confirmation response within 72 hours
after verifying availability with the renting location.
- ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVERS FOR DISABLED RENTERS A
traveling companion who will serve as a driver for a disabled
renter will be authorized at no additional charge. Drivers must
be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid drivers'
license. Please advise the Payless representative of the
companion driver at the time of rental. Both must be present at
the time of the Shuttle Services for Mobility Impaired: Some
Payless offices do not operate a fixed-route courtesy shuttle
service between an airport terminal and the rental office. At
those sites wheelchair access transportation may be provided by
a contracted company or an appropriate rental vehicle will be
dispatched to the airport terminal.

Border Crossing |
| Rentals originating in the United States (USA) are
not permitted to cross the borders of Canada or Mexico without
written authorization from the renting location. If permission is
granted by the renting location, additional rental qualifications
may apply. |

Cancellation Policy  |
|
| Cancel notification must be received one hour prior to the
scheduled arrival time unless otherwise specified on your
reservation conformation. |

CDW: Collision Damage Waiver |
|
If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are
responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle. If you
purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a
portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the
rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your
responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you
rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive
losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of
God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision
Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental
Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.
CDW is optional; your personal auto policy may cover damage to
the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are
uncertain.

Concession Recoupment Fee |
| Some Airports charge a fee for conducting car
rental business in the airport terminal or consolidated rental
car facility. The fee is added to the rental charges, collected
by Payless and remitted back to the airport authority. |

Customer Facility Charge |
| A Customer Facility Charge may be imposed by an
airport to offset the cost of operating a consolidated rental car
facility located and maintained on airport property. The fee is
added to the rental charges, collected by Payless and remitted
back to the airport authority. |

Debit/Check Card |
|
Debit Cards are accepted at most locations however please
check individual city policy; keyword DEBIT CARD or PAYMENT
INFORMATION. Eligible debit cards must have the Visa,
MasterCard or Discover logo. Stored value / prepaid / gift
cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. If accepted,
the estimated amount of the rental plus and additional security
deposit will be assessed against the debit card at the time of
rental. Those funds will not be available for your immediate
use and the deposit amount may take up to 14 days, depending on
your bank, to become available. Please refer to individual

Driver's License |
|
The renter and any authorized driver(s) must have a valid
drivers' license in their own name. The drivers' license must
be valid for the entire rental period. International renters or
authorized drivers must present a valid drivers' license from
their country of origin. If the drivers' license is in a
language other than English, a valid International Drivers
Permit must also be presented.

Driving Record |
|
Payless Car Rental may perform a drivers' license check and
may deny a rental car based on a negative driving record.

Driving Restrictions |
|
Local rental and state restrictions may apply. Geographical
restrictions will be defined under the terms of the rental
agreement and may be restricted to the state in which they are

Energy Recovery Fee  |
|
A separately stated nominal Energy Recovery Fee will be
assessed at select Payless locations. The daily fee is imposed
to offset the rising energy costs related to our business.
Where assessed, the fee will be included in the total price
quoted at the time of reservation.

Fuel
Policies/Charges |
|
OPTION #1 BUY A TANK, The vehicle is rented with a full tank.
You may purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental and
bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not
be issued for unused fuel.
OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK, The vehicle is rented with a full
tank. You may bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or
Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or
level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per
gallon.

monitors the use of the rental vehicle. The use of the product,

Insurance Covered (by my Credit
Card) |
|
Your credit card may cover your responsibility for damage to
our vehicle. However, that coverage is almost always secondary
or excess to any other coverage you might have, such as your
own auto insurance policy. Usually the coverage offered by a
credit card applies only to the deductible on the collision and
comprehensive portion of your personal auto policy. To be
certain, you must check the terms of your credit card
agreement.

Liability Insurance,
Compulsory |
|
Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you
cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance
does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle.
State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto
liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for
injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle.
Supplemental liability insurance is offered at most Payless

Mechanical Problems |
|
Mechanical problems must be reported directly to the rental
location for prompt assistance. Please call the phone number
printed on the rental agreement.

 |
No Shows  |
| A "No Show" is a customer that has a confirmed
reservation but does not cancel or "show up" at the rental
counter. Charges for some vehicles may apply if the reservation
is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the reserved
pick-up time. Please cancel your reservation in the same manner
as you made it, i.e. phone or on line Travel Agency to avoid "no
show" charges. |

One Way Rentals |
| A one way rental occurs when a vehicle is returned
to a location other than the renting location. One way rentals
are not available at all Payless locations, please inquire when
making your reservation. Where allowed, "drop off "fees or
mileage charges may apply in addition to general rates. Please

Parking Tickets
 |
| Parking Tickets are the responsibility of the
renter. At some Payless locations, a third party subrogation
company may be utilized to recover any fees associated with
unpaid violations. A service charge in addition to the cost of
the violation may be assessed to defer the cost of
collection. |

PAI/PAC |
|
Personal Accident Coverage: When you purchase optional PAI
coverage at the designated daily rate, you and your passengers
are insured against injury and death. The protection is valid
for the period of the rental and is subject to all provisions
of the group policy.

PEC |
|
Personal Effects Coverage: When you purchase optional PEC
coverage at the designated daily rate, you and your immediate
family are insured for the actual cash value of personal
property which they are traveling with against loss or damage.
The protection is valid for the period of the rental and is
subject to all provisions of the group policy.

Personal Auto Insurance

Every Payless car is rented on the assumption that your
personal auto policy will cover all liability claims for
injuries to others that you cause. This keeps our costs down
and we pass that savings on to you in the form of competitive
prices.
Some Payless locations require you to present written
proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage.
Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and
the policy number. Rental may be denied if you do not present
the required proof of insurance coverage. Please refer to

Privacy Policy |
| Customer privacy is very important and taken very
seriously with Payless Car Rental. It is our policy that customer
mail or e-mail information will not be shared with 3rd parties
except in the case of contracted partnerships for the purposes of
providing added benefits to our customers. Credit information

the scheduled arrival.

Rental Qualifications |
|
All drivers must meet the renting location's minimum age
requirements, have a valid drivers' license, clean driving
record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at
the time of rental.

|
It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle
available during regular business hours for the calendar day of
the scheduled arrival.

Supplemental Liability Insurance
(SLI) |
|
Liability coverage included with each rented vehicle is
limited to the minimum coverage permitted by each state or
country. In some cases, total coverage may be as little as
$10,000. Your own personal auto policy may also be similarly
limited. SLI increases your liability coverage to the amount
specified on your policy, up to $1 million combined single
limit for each accident. This coverage greatly expands your
liability protection, perhaps even beyond your own personal
auto policy. SLI covers injuries to persons and property you
damage while driving the rented car. It does not cover you or
passengers in the rented car. Restrictions apply; ask for a
copy of an SLI brochure at the rental counter.

Special Equipment

Infant Seats, Toddler Seats and GPS Navigation Devices are
available upon request at most Payless locations. Ski Racks and
Toll Passes are available at select locations. Pricing and

Tolls |
| Toll charges are the responsibility of the renter. Where toll
roads are no longer manned to accept cash as payment, U.S. Payless
vehicles are equipped with the ability to pay for tolls
electronically. Tolls incurred will be billed as a separate item on
your credit card statement as "Rental Car Tolls". A third party
subrogation company may be utilized to recover any fees associated
with unpaid tolls. A service charge in addition to the cost of the
violation may be assessed to defer the cost of collection. Please
refer to the individual location policy to determine if specific
toll payment instructions apply. |

Traffic Violations |
| Traffic violations are the responsibility of the renter. A
third party subrogation company may be utilized to recover any
fees associated with unpaid traffic violations. A service charge
in addition to the cost of the violation may be assessed to defer
the cost of collection. |

Upgrades |
| Payless guarantees the reserved vehicle category. If the category
is not available at the time of rental, a vehicle in a higher category
may be substituted at the confirmed rate. |

Vehicle Hold |
|
It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle
available during normal business hours for the calendar day of
the scheduled arrival.
